One standardised reference,
in the same format across the UK.
The ProveRent Report turns your rental history into a single document, fixed when you issue it, that you can attach to any application — instead of chasing ad-hoc references from old landlords every time you move.
What's inside the report

How you build it
Your record, yours to carry
- Stand out in competitive lettings: proof beats a cover letter.
- Stop chasing old landlords for references every time you move.
- Your record travels with you, between cities, agencies and landlords.
- You choose who to give it to, and issuing a new one retires the old reference.
When a tenant hands you one
- One standardised document instead of ringing around for references.
- Each tenancy is marked verified where we have checked the agreement.
- Open its reference link to see it is genuine and current.
- Reviewing your outgoing tenants is what fills these in, for everyone.
What does "verified" actually mean?
Every review comes with proof of the tenancy — a tenancy agreement, rent statement or letting confirmation. It is marked verified once our team has checked that proof — a review without the badge is one we haven't checked yet.
What if I get an unfair review?
You can respond to any review on your profile, and dispute one that breaks our rules — a moderator checks every dispute. Personal attacks and false claims are removed.
Who can see my report?
Only people you give its reference link or PDF to, and only the report itself — no contact details, documents, or account access. Issue a new Report and the old reference stops working.
Is it recognised across the UK?
The report uses one fixed format wherever you rent in the UK, so any letting agent reads the same document — and can confirm it's genuine in seconds with the reference code. It complements, rather than replaces, formal referencing checks.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Building your record, generating the report, and sharing it are free for tenants.
